Natural Grandidirite 3.11 ct

This grandidierite exhibits a green-blue collaboration characteristic of this magnesium-aluminum. Microscopic revealed a limited number of inclusion such as needles minute particles and thin films.  The high clarity and appealing colour also combined to enhance the stone’s unique character.  Grandidierite  is a relatively rare mineral that is found in a few localities including Sri Lanka, Italy, New Zealand and Madagascar.  Faceted examples of the mineral are highly sought by gemstone collectors due to the mineral’s rarity.
